1989
Mr. David So, founder
of New Bright, quit his
job as a senior merch-
andiser at the American
Department Store
Macy’s, and rented a
room to start his own
handbag workshop in
Hong Kong.
1995
To expand Mr.So's bag
businesses, New Bright's
workshop was upsized
and was relocated to
Zhong Shan City in
Guangdong Province in
the middle of 90's.
2000
New Bright employs
more than 400 workers
between Zhong Shan
City and Hong Kong.
New Bright becomes
one of the top bags
manufacturers in China.
2012
Mr. So passed on his
traditions and skills to
“The New Bright Team”,
the fellow colleagues,
his son, and his daughter.
2016
This year there are
more than 300,000
products manufactured
in our factory.
They come from more
than 100 projects a year.
